1. Number has been and always will be The Sound of Music. When I was little I would watch this movie with my grandma all the time and it always reminds me of her. Plus, I love all Maria's dresses in the movie, even if the vonTrapp children think they're ugly. And who can resist the song, "Lonely Goatherd"? Only a crazy person wouldn't like this musical.

3. Mary Poppins is next. This movie is amazing for the most parts, but there are a few scenes that I could go without seeing. Mostly I just hate when the children go to the bank with their father and the old man gets all mad and sings his stupid song. Other than that, this movie is highly recommended.

5. When I was younger my sister would babysit this little kid, Charlie, who introduced me to my fifth love, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. This movie doesn't really have any memorable songs but it is definitely a funny one.

6. At my high school, we were well known for putting on a good musical every year. One of my favorite musicals that I ever saw there was Seussical the Musical. It is a story based on the story Horton Hears a Who with some additional characters added. My favorite song would have to be "Notice Me Horton."

7. Another musical my school did was Ragtime. I hated this musical when I first saw it but now I love the music. It is a sad story about people in the 1920's but it's a good one.
8. I haven't actually ever watched the whole movie but I would have to say Rent would be my next choice. I love the music, though I have a hard time liking the story. I don't care about them not being able to pay their rent because of their STDs, that is just nasty. I do however, love the song that the lesbians sing. I can't help but like it, not because I am a lesbian (I AM NOT A LESBIAN) but because it is so fun to sing.

9. When I was in high school I really liked Annie. Now that I'm older I just find it to be ok. The songs are fun to sing and it has a good story but it definitely isn't my favorite.

10. My new favorite songs are from Wicked. I love singing them, though I have never actually seen it. I love the song "Popular" and the song "I'm Not That Girl".
Well that is the list. Not ever musical that I love is on here but close to.

Thanks for "taking it up a notch". I imagine it was a tough choice for you between Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz. Remember how you would wear the blue dress everyday pretending to be Dorthy or some days it was Maria? Too bad you don't have a picture of that to post. What a silly little girl you were and sometimes still are.
